What equipment is required for landscaping and tree care to tell me all the equipment I need?
What type of landscaping? Mow and lock? design / construction? Would you like to masonry? install ponds? patio pavers? plantations? Service firms need tree climbing apparatus, ropes, saws, chain saws, ropes, equipment, to have a big truck and trailer behind your shredder is a good idea (easily more than $ 60K for two new). I think you need to sit and reflect on what services you are qualified to offer and what are your goals and objectives are before purchasing equipment.

Readers will find all they need to know about installing and caring for the plants, paths, fences, walls, and arbors that make up the designs. Like the other titles in the series, this book contains three parts: Design Portfolio, Guide to Installations, and Plant Portraits. Clearly written in a friendly style, it provides all readers need to know to landscape like a pro.
I bought a house last year which was built in 79. So far I spent about 10k again 2 bathrooms, large household in the basement, and a good amount of landscaping. I intend to cook and the last bath together. I did the work myself, and I have been using the finest materials such as travertine tile and granite countertops. I do not know yet whether or not I'll sell it in 3-5 years or retain for a rental. it just seems that living by myself, I would be able to save more money with a flat with no repairs. I bought the house at the bottom of the market, so its condition remodeled, I profit by about 40-50k. it sounds good, but my time and my job is really worth it?
as long as you do not pass the 40-50K you intend to use, before selling, then duh, it's not a waste. 3-5 years, in the current market is prolly not long enough to hang. the market will continue to see more and more seizures and short sales during the next 3-5 years, allowing the sale price of your property. This is because many (ARM mortgages Adjustable Rate) given by banks in the past 3-5 years that will come due to increases in interest rates set to change in the 3,5,6,7,8,9, & 10YR mark. as ridiculous as it sounds you can find no equity, no savings and a house you can not discharge what you paid for. do not count on appreciation. even here in the north where our lending practices have always been very conservative, there was no satisfaction in the last 5 years anyway.

Desert Landscaping

George Brookbank has distilled nearly twenty years' experience—as an extension agent in urban horticulture with the University of Arizona—into a practical book that tells how to avoid problems with desert landscaping before they occur and how to correct those that do. In the first part, "How to Start and Maintain a Desert Landscape," he provides 28 easy-to-use chapters that address concerns ranging from how to start a wildflower garden to how to cope with Texas root rot. In Part Two, "A Month-By-Month Maintenance Guide," he offers a handy almanac that tells what to do and what to watch out for each month of the year, with cross-references to the chapters in Part One. Homeowners who maintain their own landscape will find in this book ways to make the work more satisfying and productive, while those who hire landscape contractors can make sure the work is done effectively and economically. "You'll find all kinds of books on desert landscape design and materials, irrigation system and design, and landscape installation," says Brookbank. "So far as I know, however, this is the only book that tells you what to do with what you've got and how to keep it growing." CONTENTSPart 1 - How to Start and Maintain a Desert Landscape1. With an average annual rainfall of a mere 8.3 inches, this state's unique climate and culture radiate from the pages of Arizona.
Arizona
$20.48
If you had to choose just one affordably-priced book to be representative of Arizona's natural beauty, in all its variety and splendor, this would be it. First, there are the photographs: more than 65 of them, by the most respected professionals in the field. Arizona Highways contributors from around the state supplied full-color images that vividly display the harmony of color and form, rich textures and vast spaces of Arizona's deserts, mountains, plateaus, grasslands and riparian niches. The immense, sculpted layers of the Grand Canyon, cool pools of water in the midst of searing desert, green "sky island" mountains thrusting upward from basin floors and monumental rock formations - all contribute to the sometimes subtle and sometimes overwhelming beauty of Arizona. Then there's the descriptive text. Journalist and veteran outdoorsman Sam Negri draws from a deep well of experience to characterize the landscape, relating it to the state's history and folklore. In six chapters, he explores the deep forests and sculpted plateaus of the Arizona Strip, the color and texture of Indian Country, the vast ribbon of trees and water that make up the mountains, the unexpected exotic appeal of Western Arizona, the diversity of life and forms of the Southwestern Desert and the Southeastern Desert's land of contrast. First published in 1996 and now available in its third printing, the book's impressive cover and the quality of its design assure that it will remain a literary ambassador welcomed by those wanting to stay in touch with this interesting corner of the world.
