acceptance to the University of Texas at Austin?
I am going to be a next year of high school and I really want to go to UT. I'm ranked about the top 40 in my class and its not a great class, perhaps 200. I do not think I did well on my ACT I only got a 20. I do stuff as well as extracurricular sports. I wish to enter in the University of Texas landscape architecture program. do u really think I'd be able to enter I could also go to my community college for one year and then transfer. Do u think its possible.
20th percentile is not really surprising, but it's not so bad. In practice, most of the average secondary classes (about 85%) * could * go into a college somewhere. So I'd say you have a good chance to get in UT, how you have a chance to make a showing as a good student. program of landscape architecture is a graduate program in any case, this which means that you get your degree first. You can visit their website and consider visiting the Open House September 17 for more information.

Las Cruces (NM) (Images of America)
$15.98 The city of Las Cruces, situated under blue skies in the Chihuahuan desert, boasts a wealth of Native American and Wild West history. As New Mexico's second largest city, it is a modern metropolis that has held fast to its picturesque past. Spanish explorers arrived in the 1500s in search of the Seven Cities of Gold, and after the United States conquered the territory, the area became a transportation hub, blossoming from its adobe beginnings into a permanent, important city. The photographs contained in this volume tell the unique story of this town of contrasts, where historic plazas sit next to modern office buildings and subdivisions sprawl alongside old Indian trails. Many of the original buildings are now restaurants, galleries, and shops, but here readers see them as they once stood, making this book a fascinating reference for those familiar with the city or exploring it for the first time. |
