IPhone App and Landscape Typing?

I have the iPhone and I get tired of texting on the small keyboard and I heard somewhere that you can buy software that has a landscape of typing (the full keyboard when you put it aside) I looked and all I saw was for sending emails and text messages via e - mail. I want when I can just text and email normally, but with the power to turn sideways for landscape typing. If you know or have an application that you know with certainty is what I want to help me a lot
