Senna surattensis
Chamaecrista nictitnas
Crab grass
Portuluca oleracae
Fucrea sp.
Phyllanthus debilis
Leuceana leucocephala
Stapelia gigantea

im really confused right now..can’t seem to determine whether they are rare or not

Not sure if I can answer all of them.

The following are common species (growing in a wide range of countries or habitats. So the following listed species are NOT rare:

Panicum maximum (grass)
Haematoxylum campechianum (tree)
Waltheria indica (plant), found throughout the tropics
Agave sp. grown for tequila, or available at the garden center
Heteropogon contortus; grass, a weed (too much of this one!)
Crab grass (Digitaria): lawn pest
Portulaca oleracea: a weed
Phyllanthus debilis; a weed
Leucaena leucocephala; tree, spreads as weed
Stapelia gigantea, succulent; can buy this plant at nurseries

I am not sure about the rest, but it looks as if the majority of your list are definitely NOT rare!

Lichen is not really a species, but rather a symbiosis of a fungus with a photosynthetic partner such as a alga. They are not rare, but sensitive to pollutants, and so they won’t grow in places with a lot of pollution.
