illinois landscaping
Road-trip across Indiana and Illinois.?
I'm going on a road trip this summer and I'm planning the route. So I drive through Indiana and Illinois I was wondering where to stop or drive through the case, there will be something worth checking out. I am interested to see beautiful farm landscapes or something else. Suggestions?
If you visit Northwest Indiana, made a stop in Indiana Dunes State Park. They have a good beach and sand dunes you can climb. There are also hiking trails and a nature center. Starved Rock State Park in Utica, IL, is about 90 minutes from Chicago. It is very picturesque and has a beautiful waterfall. Scenic is another area Brown County State Park near Bloomington, IN. If you travel the along I-88 East / West in Illinois, or I-57, which extends from north to south, you'll be able to get off at many stops and see many farmland. Richmond, Ind., also has some beautiful farm country in east-central part of the state.
