Tree Pretty
Would like a nice tree for my CT garden?
I live in Connecticut and would like to plant a tree in my garden. I would like it to be a pretty tree, one with flowers if possible or colored leaves. Not green. It must be able to withstand a little bit of flooding when it rains, because when it rains hard the garden fills with a large pool of water. It must live year round for it is CT and we can have some cold winters. If you also know of some flowers that would be nice for this garden please mention them.
1 more thing, the tree will get partial sunlight to full shade.
i would suggest a dogwood tree but they sure would not like to stand in water very long. Summer time flowers would be impatiens, begonias
